In response to House passage of President Trump’s rescissions package canceling $9.4 billion in previously approved spending, Carolyn Bourdeaux, Executive Director of Concord Action, made the following statement:
“It is encouraging to see the Administration and Congress following the regular order for presidential rescission requests. While not endorsing any specific items included in the package, $9.4 billion is a very small start on the very long road back to budget balance.”
